Welcome to our home on the web . . . We are a small hobby show kennel located 20 miles east of San Francisco in the beautiful Alhambra Valley. Craig and I are originally from Chicago and started showing English Setters in the early 70's. Our foundation bloodlines came from Hiddenlane, Pleasant Point and Guys 'N Dolls kennels.

Our dogs have made us very proud over the years by consistently ranking among the Top Ten English Setters in the country and taking top honors from coast to coast. We have had 3 different English Setters who have won the prestigious PEDIGREE and ESAA Award for NUMBER ONE ENGLISH SETTER OF THE YEAR. Our "SPECIALS" have won a combined total of over 40 SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOWS, including 3 NATIONAL SPECIALTY BESTS, and 43 ALL BREED BEST IN SHOWS !!!!

The world of English Setters and dog shows has taken us down some exciting paths. Craig has completed his definitive work, The History of English Setter Show Dogs In America which was published by Doral Publications in the Fall of 2003. And I, Angie, now own and operate Group 1 Custom Design specializing in web site creation and design as well as print advertisements for the dog fancy and small businesses here in the Bay area.
